It is with regret that we announce the death of Barry Finn, son of NYPPA Honorary Life Member and Past President William V. Finn, which occurred on October 7, 2016. He was 80. Finn was our guest this summer at the fireboat ride commemorating his father’s 1958 line-of-duty death while photographing for the Journal-American, and accepted his father’s posthumous award on behalf of the family. The Finns wish to again convey to our organization how grateful they are for our remembrance of their patriarch. We extend to them our deepest sympathy, and thank them for their generous support of the NYPPA.
