Bill Eppridge, Photographer Who Captured Robert F. Kennedy’s Death, Dies at 75

Photo by Aristide Economopoulos/The Star-LedgerAward-winning photojournalist, Bill Eppridge, known for his historic image of the Senator Robert F. Kennedy dying on the floor of a Los Angeles hotel in 1968, passed away on Thursday, October 3rd, 2013 in Danbury, Conn.

According to the National Press Photographers Association, Eppridge had been suffering from a blood infection brought on by a fall that injured his hand.

He was 75 years old.
