The New York Press Photographers Association Membership meeting will be this November 1st, 2011 at 7:00pm to 10:00pm at the Brooklyn Brewery with special speaker Bob Sacha.
Bob Sacha is an award-winning freelance multimedia producer, documentary cameraman, internationally published photographer, multimedia and film editor and teacher based in New York City. He shoots and produce stories, conducts on-camera video interviews, shoots motion and stills, edits audio, video and stills and uses the assets to edit and create the cinematic openings to web sites. He also teaches these skills to students around the world.
He will be speaking about storytelling when shooting video and also about weekend video bootcamp, which he teaches at CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
The evening will be a great time…and we will be tasting beer!
You will be able to purchase Beer Tokens at the Company Store at $4 each or 6 tokens for $20, and enjoying the company of our fellow photographers. Food will be provided. We will have the business meeting of the NYPPA to go over what we are doing and planning for the upcoming year with the Organization.
