Report an NYP parking zone violation to the NYPPA
Dear NYPPA Members:
The Police and Government Relations Committee is gathering data to see how NYP parking zones are used. We hear plenty of anecdotal complaints of non-NYP vehicles parking in NYP-Only zones which deprive journalists from using these reserved places. Some may be people who don’t know better, but many seem to be vehicles containing either official license plates or parking placards. We get complaints about individual cars to full sized moving trucks with placards from the NYPD to permits for filming a movie or television show.
We need your help documenting all abuses as we work to try to obtain better parking for our members!
