Jackson Pokress, 102, World War II photographer, NYPPA Member and North Massapequa Fire Department member has passed away

News

We mourn the loss of Jackson Pokress, senior member of the New York Press Photographers Association, and father of past president David Pokress. Jack was a WWII veteran who served in the CBI theater documenting Merrill’s Marauders for the 164th Signal Photo Company. He was 102.
