Congratulations are in order for the 6 new members to the NYPPA. The Board also accepted back into membership 1 member. The NYPPA Board at the March 3rd meeting approved them into membership.

Also long-time board member Joe DeMaria who has served on the NYPPA board as President several times, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President has resigned to allow for some new blood and energy on the Board. The Board has made him board member emeritus with the right to attend all Board meetings and hopefully he will continue to advise us as we move the organization forward. I cannot tell you how much Joe DeMaria has meant to the NYPPA. Everyone is in his debt.

Chip East of Reuters has been chosen by the Board to replace Joe and he was sworn in Tuesday night.
